Thinking Yourself To Death
We are all subject to life stressors that create worry. It would be unusual or possibly abnormal to find someone that does not worry about something.
Our thoughts are in constant motion dealing with issues related to
money, family, children, love, and other relationships.
These preoccupations can become overwhelming at times when we feel out of control.
Ultimately we may begin to experience physical and psychological manisfestations of the stress exacerbated by our constant worry. We become tense, irritable, fatigued, distant, and even withdrawn.
We may end up going through the day walking in circles not knowing which way to turn. The constant worry impairs our ability to focus. The more we worry and dwell on issues the worse it seems to get, becoming a vicious cycle.
Perhaps the best approach when you are overwhelmed with life issues is to focus and take action….There is nothing scientific about this.
Take the issues, one at a time, and do something about it. Then no matter the outcome you will know that you did all that you could do to improve the situation.
Everyone wants to give you free advice and their take on how you should handle life events that are getting you down. There is no shortage of “experts” that think they have a solution to the problems of others.
Do not abandon your friends, family, and those you love. They have your best interest at heart, even if they do not agree with what you have done or how you are approaching your situation. They can give you a different perspective, a shoulder to lean on, be your escape and offer encouragement when the world seems to be falling apart around you. If they truely love and care about you they won’t give up on you.
Try to look at the big picture and what you want the ultimate outcome to be.
Stop thinking yourself to death…………………
